Mommy/Daddy and Me: Toddler Science and Engineering
November 16 @ 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM
We’re trying something new at Imagination Station: Toddler time! Future engineers and scientists start at toddlers. In fact, your toddler is already a great physicist! Really! That’s why they love throwing things off the high chair or booster seat! They’re testing the reality around them.
On Thursday November 16 we’re fortunate to have a great guest and free tasty treats!
Dr. Monica Cardella of Purdue’s INSPIRE Research Center for Pre-College Engineering, the professor whose research is behind the Engineering Gift Guide will be here with toys for toddlers and pre-schoolers from the 2017 Engineering Gift Guide! Talk to her about the toys or about how to do engineering at home with your tot or pre-schooler, test the toys with your tot or pre-schooler, enjoy coffee and treats!
Treats are provided by our good friends at Smitty Bread!
Who is this for: Parents of toddlers and pre-schoolers and their future engineers!
When: 10:30-11:00 (you can stay the whole time we’re open)
How much: Free for our members and people who are under 2, $4 for people 2 and up.
