To provide hands-on Science, Space, and Technology experiences that stimulate young minds.

Who we are!

Imagination Station is the only hand-on family science center in the Greater Lafayette area. Boasting hands-on interactive exhibits ranging from computers, to dinosaurs, to simulators. Imagination Station has something for everybody. It is our goal to promote science literacy while providing enjoyable experiances for all children ages 2 to 80.

History

In 1992, a dedicated group of people from the Greater Lafayette community formed the Association for Space, Science, Engineering & Technology; or ASSET.
Their dream?
A hands-on, interactive science and space museum. A place for children and their families to explore the worlds of science, space, engineering and technology.
The result?
The Imagination Station ,opened in 1996 through the combined efforts of hundreds of committed volunteers and donors. Continuing support of museum members, and volunteers from the community keep Imagination Station operating.
And now you can be part of helping to keep our children's imaginations soaring by donating equipment, time, or financial support. How you can help is limited only by your interest....and your imagination.
